This is a personal project I created based on my inspiration from watching the movie "Once We Were Divine" by New Realm Studios on Gan Jing World. I'm always fascinated with religious stories and myths, so after watching the movie I decided to make an illustration of my own interpretation on the movie's title.
Text on the back of the book:
"Helen looked at the sky. She once heard a religious saying that each star is also a small universe, with living beings that have wisdom just like our humankind, that the worlds of Gods and Buddhas do exist across the cosmic body’s planes, and that human being is never meant to be human but to return to their heavenly kingdom, because that is where they truly came from."
